What's On in Melbourne: January '16
2016 is going to be a great year. With my wedding in February, honeymoon in March and a new home in Melbourne, how can it not be amazing.
To help get reacquainted with the city, here is the first What's On post of the year, set in Melbourne:
The Australian Open: Not much needs to be said about this world renowned tournament. Running until 31 January 2016.
The Grand Hotel, Richmond: This Chef's Hat restaurant and bistro in my neighbourhood is the perfect place for an Aperol Spritz in the courtyard or a six course degustation in the dining room. Sign up to their newsletter to become a Grand VIP and for your birthday the degustation is on them!
Mr. Miyagi: Japanese food and drinks. Great food, great atmosphere. Chapel Street, Windsor.
Andy Warhol | Ai Wei Wei at NGV: An amazing and comprehensive exhibition exploring the parallels and differences between these two artists and their work. Running until 24th April.
Arbory Bar and Eatery: "An escape from the city in the heart of the city" is exactly what Arbory is. Located between Yarra River and Flinders Street Station, this outdoor bar has delicious comfort food and drinks on offer, even espresso martinis on tap! Bring visitors and enjoy the views of Southbank and the Yarra.
Humming Puppy Yoga: Stunning studio, excellent teachers and extensive timetable, Humming Puppy in Prahran is a must try for yoga lovers, design lovers or if you want a blissful getaway from everyday life. Just want a trial? Get going with their Starter Pass. For $70 you will get three weeks unlimited access.
I'd love to hear what you are up to this month, or which places (especially food related places) I should check out in Melbourne!
