Farewell Perth

Last week I farewelled Perth.

A picnic on a balmy summer evening was the perfect way to round out my time in Perth. A circle of my closest friends, drinking champagne and feasting on the new 'La Dolce Pizza' range from Crust Mount Lawley delivered to us at Hyde Park. The Italian inspired pizzas; Quattro Salumi, Chilli Gamberi, Porcini and a secret pizza (hint: it has two of my favourite ingredients; pancetta and truffle oil!), with a side of Herb and Garlic Ciabatta was the ideal gourmet meal for the eight of us. 

It has been a wonderful three years in Western Australia. I have grown in so many unexpected ways. The friends, experiences and memories will stay with me forever. 

Here are a few favourite Perth moments:

1. First thoughts on Perth, the beautiful relaxed city.

2. Collaboration with blogger and best friend, Nadine Pougnet from The Essentialist on our editorial 'Field of Dreams'. 

3. Being a guest speaker at Curtin University's PR in Fashion night and more recently at the POPdining Impact dinner.

4. The Perth Travel Guide I composed in collaboration with Volvo Australia.

5. Shooting my JETS swimsuit collaboration at golden hour on Trigg beach.

6.  Interviewing Perth fashion illustrator Pippa McManus. I'm lucky enough to own one of her beautiful artworks.

7. Being selected as Official Blogger for the Sunday Best Market for Telstra Perth Fashion Festival 2015.  

The Perth experience has provided a wonderful basis for my blogging. Now to add the rich textures of Melbourne!
