Say Good Morning to Radiant Skin
Smoother, more radiant, younger looking skin is what we all dream of. Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair claim to make all of these dreams come true. But are they true to their word? Let's find out below.
What is it?
Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II (or ANR as it's fondly referred to by beauty insiders) has become a cult beauty favourite since its launch in the eighties. The anti-ageing serum hydrates and helps fight key signs of ageing while you sleep. It claims to strengthen and smoothe skin and target dryness and dullness, leading to more youthful and radiant skin.
How do I use it?
Apply on clean skin before your moisturiser morning and night. Use several drops. Smooth in gently all over face and throat.
Try this Night Routine
1. Apply a drop on each fingertip of one hand.
2. Touch fingertips of both hands together.
3. Massage serum over face and neck, starting at the centre, outward.
Who is it for?
I received my first ANR as a gift with purchase when I was 21. I was told that it as it's an anti-ageing serum was too strong for my skin so I gifted it to my mother who loved it. I began using it myself when I turned 27 and have heard since then that at a younger age you can use ANR as a preventative to ageing. If you're in your early twenties, it might be good to speak to a consultant at the Estée Lauder beauty counter to ensure it's the right product for you.
Why it's a cult beauty product?
ANR instantly sinks into the skin making it perfect for under make-up as well as for the nightly routine. I love to use it on flights to hydrate and protect my skin from drying out in the harsh air conditioning. It's difficult to say whether it's made a big impact on fine lines, but it definitely makes the skin glow and radiant which is good enough for me.
