Charlotte Tilbury has been an expert in the make-up industry for over 20 years, working on runways in New York, Paris, London, Milan, creating covers for Vogue and Vanity Fair plus campaigns for luxury brands. Tilbury knew the products she wanted to use but couldn't find them in the market, so she decided to create them herself.

The Charlotte Tilbury brand is only two and a half years old, but has already developed a loyal following. Everyone who has used her products knows how good they are. The first product of hers I tried was Legendary Brows Sculpt and Shade Gel. It grooms and shades each hair adding structure to your brows without creating a pencilled in, stuck-down effect.

Legendary Lashes is another product I have in my make-up kit. It gives your lashes that va va voom effect which I absolutely love. I save this mascara for events and nights out due to its high impact volume and I find it falls as the day goes on. Perhaps this is due to my eye shape as this doesn’t happen to others I have spoken to.

When I heard about Charlotte Tilbury’s new limited edition set, The Dreamy Look, I was excited to try it. Inspired by supermodels like Gisele Bündchen and Gigi Hadid, The Dreamy Look kit is the quintessential make-up accessory and designed to suit all skin tones. It includes a luxury eye palette Legendary Muse, Hot Lips lipstick in Secret Salma, Legendary Lashes and Rock’N’Kohl Bedroom Black eye pencil. You can use it lightly for day and apply more for night, all you need is your base.

I’m usually a red lipstick gal so the addition of a neutral lip shade, Secret Salma, to my make-up bag was a welcome change. It’s the perfect lip colour for when the eyes are the focus or for a day at the office. Each shade of Tilbury’s Hot Lips lipstick range is named after her famous friends-slash-clients including Liv Tyler, Kate Bosworth and Salma Hayek. £1 from each lipstick sold goes to Women For Women International charity, which supports female survivors of wars in countries including Afghanistan, Iraq, Rwanda, Bosnia and Kosovo.
