Wedding Preparation with Simone Pérèle

I am a believer in matching lingerie sets for any occasion but even more so for special events such as a wedding. 

Parisian brand Simone Pérèle has been my favourite lingerie since receiving the first set four years ago. The quality, feminine designs and comfort is what I love about them and while it's an investment, they're pieces you wear day in, day out.

In collaboration with Simone Pérèle, here are my favourite lingerie sets that I chose for my wedding.

DELICE Corbeille Bra, WISH Porte-jarretelles & Guipure Lace Shorty

The first priority with my wedding lingerie was comfort, I didn't want to be re-adjusting all night.

Luckily my dress wasn't restrictive, instead it allowed me to wear what I was comfortable in. I own the Delice bra in other hues so I knew it was the right choice and the Wish guipure lace Shorty was pretty, while still being comfortable.

As I had a summer wedding, I set aside the WISH Porte-jarretelles suspender belt, however if it had been winter, I would have worn it with tights. Although suspender belts aren't worn as frequently nowadays, I love the femininity and the way they make me feel when I wear them.

WISH Guêpière

The Wish Guêpière or bustier is a dream to wear. While I chose to wear the Delice Corbeille bra on my wedding day, if my dress needed structure I would have opted for the bustier.

The guipure lace and embroidery along with the Jacquard satin is stunning, and the soft boning and corset structure is surprisingly comfortable, while still creates flattering lines.

At the end of the night, after we hung up our outfits, I was extremely relieved that I chose to wear comfortable lingerie while still feeling very special in Simone Pérèle on my big day.
