Tens, an uplifting tint on life
Imagine if everyday life could have a Valencia-esque tint (an Instagram reference, if you weren't aware) and everywhere you looked made you smile. Well Tens sunglasses does just that.
When I first put them on driving, I couldn't stop grinning. The dull freeway turned into a warmly lit dream road and the industrial buildings on either side looked like award-winning photos ready to be shot. Everywhere I looked was beautiful.
Tens was created by a group of young filmmakers and photographers, Tom Welsh, Kris Reid and Marty Bell. They set out to develop sunglasses with a simple ambition; to make your day look ten times better. While most normal sunglasses block out light with desaturated hues, Tens works with the warmth of the sun to lend an uplifting tint to the world beyond the lens. The lens features UV400 protection, blocking 100% of harmful rays and the lens is scratch resistant.
They launched a crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo in May this year and were flooded with an overwhelming response.
