My Custom Jacket by Shreeja and Shweta
Many of the clothes we see these days in stores lack life and personality. Every person in the street is wearing some version of the same. Whenever I shop, I search for pieces that are unique and different from the rest. I search for garments that tell a story, that are quality and most importantly, make me feel wonderful when I wear them. When I saw fellow blogger, Adelle from Where the Styled Things Are, wearing this stunning jacket at Perth Fashion Festival, I had to have one for myself.
It was the fabric and starling hues that first caught my eye. The combination of classic cut and beautiful Indian textiles were perfect. Designed and custom made by Shreeja and Shweta, I set about ordering a jacket for myself and my mother for her Christmas present. Shreeja made a personal visit to my house. I chose the fabric I wanted, she took my measurements and sent them to her business partner in India to be made. Within a few weeks she delivered the two jackets to my door. They were perfect.
I think you know you have come across a great find, when passersby compliment you on your clothing. This jacket definitely gets that treatment!
