Delpozo Fall 2014
Spanish designer, Jesús del Pozo, founded the fashion company Delpozo, in 1974. Now under the guidance of creative director Josep Font, the Madrid based label successfully revitalised the legacy of del Pozo and repositioned itself for a global audience. After making its New York Fashion Week debut last year, the brand has become one to watch.
A former architecture student, Font's fascination with shapes and structure is evident in his designs. The Fall collection, inspired by the work of Italian painter Duilio Barnabe, and the retro-futuristic novel, Logan's Run, was a mixture of contrasting themes. Strong silhouettes were seen alongside delicate forms, pastels alongside vivid colours, but it all flowed seamlessly. Beautiful and inspiring, Delpozo's collection is enough to put anyone in a dream state.
