I am constantly on the search for inspiring art and fashion. Drawn to out-of-the-ordinary things, I seek clothing with individuality or artworks that have a sense of the unexpected. When something unique catches my eye such as NEWSERIE, I immediately want to find out more. Born in Santiago, Chile in 1979, Berlin based artist Jose Ignacio Romussi Murphy collected images from old fashion magazines. Altering them using embroidery and a sewing machine, he transformed them into NEWSERIE. Inspiring, surprising and slightly ominous, Jose beautifully merges fashion and art to create something truly exceptional.
