Uniqlo U is elevated basics.
Japanese retailer Uniqlo recently released their second collection of Uniqlo U. Designed by artistic director, Christophe Lemaire, the Spring Summer 2017 collection consists of basics that are anything but basic.
Known for his stylised minimalism, French designer Lemarie's collection is extensive, styles are modern and cuts are perfect. Even the boxier silhouettes such as the Sack Dress flatter the body. There's also a heaviness to the material that makes the pieces hang and feel well-made.
These wardrobe-building staples hit the mark of being comfortable and functional. Yet they hold Parisian charm, all with an affordable price tag.
