Sydney womenswear label Jacinta James is beautiful beyond words. Creative director Jacinta Demetriou adds luxury to a world saturated with throw-away fashion trends.

Demetriou gained experience with designers Rick Owens, Donna Karan and Kit Willow. Since then she has developed her own signature look which is evident in her pieces. Her collections encapsulate romance and luxury, using the finest European and Japanese fabrics. Each garment is made-to order locally, by hand, reducing the brand's carbon footprint.

Demetriou reached out to me to collaborate and I jumped at the opportunity to feature the label on the blog. It's flattering when a designer you admire believes your aesthetic aligns with theirs. In an interview with Couturing.com, Demetriou describes the Jacinta James woman as below:

I love designers who transcend trends, especially when it comes to couture pieces, like from Jacinta James. These garments are special and unique, designed to empower the wearer and make them feel beautiful.

The roped leather pants are my favourite. The way they move with the body is incredible, a real eye-catcher.

Jacinta Demetriou is a designer to watch. Her pieces are stocked at Husk (one of my favourite stores). She's fast gaining a loyal following.
