Dressing for work doesn't have to be boring

The perks of working for a fashion brand is that I get to wear whatever I want everyday. From ripped boyfriend jeans and mini dresses to sneakers, anything goes.

In saying that I like to dress up for work. Most days I wear heels, tailored trousers and blazers. It may sound strange but I think it makes me work better.

I wear some of the best pieces I own to the office and why shouldn't I. As former Vogue editior-in-chief, Kirstie Clements said "Don't save things for special occasions. Every day is a special occasion - wear it now".

If you work in a corporate setting, dressing for work doesn't have to be boring. Add unexpected elements into your work 'uniform'. These navy pants from Melbourne label SHAHN are the perfect amount of corporate, while the elongated panels at the back add a point of difference. And this vintage Trelise Cooper jacket gives the outfit the pop of colour it deserves.

What do you wear to work? Do you keep it simple or add an element of fun?
